Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We design every pair to help you express yourself, and we want you to step into your new favourite accessory with absolute confidence.

The "First Pair" Guarantee Trying Uniq Socks for the first time? We want you to shop with complete peace of mind. If you are not 100% in love with your very first pair, please contact us within 30 days. We will issue a refund or store credit without requiring you to return the worn pair. (Limit one refund per customer for the First Pair Guarantee).

Change of Mind Returns For all other orders, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the items meet our strict hygiene standards.

  • Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags attached.

  • Return Cost: To keep our prices fair, a flat return shipping rate of $9.95 will be deducted from your final refund amount.

  • Exchanges: We recommend returning your item for a refund or store credit and placing a new order immediately to secure your preferred style.

How to Arrange a Return We have made the process seamless:

  1. Log In: Visit your Uniq Socks Account or our Returns Page.

  2. Select: Choose the items you wish to return.

  3. Label: Once approved, you will receive instructions and a return shipping label.

  4. Pack: Secure your socks in their original packaging (or a suitable mailer) and drop them off as directed.

Hygiene & Non-Returnable Items To ensure the highest quality and safety for every customer, we maintain strict hygiene standards. Due to the intimate nature of hosiery and sheer socks, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges once an item has been tried on, worn, or removed from its original packaging (excluding the First Pair Guarantee).

  • Size Guide: Please refer to our Size Guide before purchasing. If you are between sizes in our designer tights or sheer hosiery, we recommend sizing up for the best comfort and to preserve the integrity of the fabric.

  • Hosiery, Tights & Sheer Socks: Strictly non-returnable if opened.

  • Gift Cards: Non-refundable.

  • Sale Items: Eligible for Store Credit only (unless faulty).

Please Note: If a returned item arrives worn, damaged, or without its original tags and packaging, we will be unable to process a refund and may need to send the item back to you.

Preserving Your Luxury Pieces Our creative sheer designer patterns and premium fibers are delicate by nature. The lifespan of your Uniq Socks will vary depending on individual care and wear. You will find detailed information on our Care Instructions page.

  • Handle with Care: To preserve their beauty, please take care when putting them on. Avoid contact with sharp objects such as jewelery, rings, or long nails, as these can snag delicate knits.

  • Material Features: Certain embellished or ultra-sheer styles may naturally show slight variations in the weave during handling. Additionally, certain embellished styles, such as our exquisite Crystal and Lace designs, may naturally shed a small number of decorative items during normal wear. These are expected characteristics of delicate, intricate detailing and do not constitute a fault.

The Quality Guarantee (Faulty Items) If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right immediately. Please email our team at returns@uniqsocks.com.au within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs, in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Refund Processing Time Once your return reaches our warehouse, please allow 2 business days for inspection.

  • Approval: Your refund will be processed to your original payment method immediately after approval.

  • Bank Processing: Please note that funds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank.
