Elastane is a synthetic fibre that is known for its excellent strength and elasticity. 

Elastane is a product manufactured from polymers with qualities resembling rubber, it is resistant to body oils and perspiration and is often used in combination with other fibers to increase the durability of clothing items.

The ability to stretch up to five times its length, then to return to the original shape, creates a mix of yarns very suitable for socks and hosiery, it is great at holding its shape, very resilient, and provides a snug fit.
